Who we are
Booth Buds is a community-forward analog photobooth company focused on restoring vintage photobooths and placing them in all-age spaces in Los Angeles. Our goal is to deliver tangible memories in an increasingly digital world and to create shared experiences through these timeless machines.
Founded in 2025 by husband-and-wife team Tarreyn Van Slyke & Ben Morse, our mission is to build community, spark creativity, harness the power of nostalgia, and keep the tradition of analog photography thriving for future generations.
What started as a personal obsession with the warmth, authenticity, and pure joy of analog photo strips has grown into something much bigger. We now source, restore, and operate analog booths, preserving a medium that nearly disappeared.
We partner with select venues that value experience, nostalgia, and cultural relevance, placing these rare machines in spaces where people gather, celebrate, and document their lives.
Our focus: preserving analog photography, building thoughtful partnerships, fostering meaningful nostalgia, and delivering operational excellence.
WHY BOOTH BUDS?
Photobooths are a place where things bloom - romance, friendships, self-expression. They’re a part of society’s collective memory, magical little planting grounds for joy and nostalgia.
The meaning behind our name is twofold: Each of our booths is named after a flower (bud), and we want you to pile into our booths with YOUR buds.
